Squint is a misalignment of eyes which can relate to vision problems and sometimes to Neurological issues. Therefore, a detailed examination is necessary for the cause of the squint. Binocular vision is a unique property of the human eyes. Seeing one object with both eyes at the same time and forming one image is a unique characteristic of the human eye which requires meticulous functioning of various parts of the eye. When both eyes visual axis are aligned, the eyes are said to be functioning together. On the other hand, a misalignment in the visual axis of both eyes condition is termed a squint. In general, crossing or deviation of the eye is termed a squint. This misalignment may be due to various causes that may be in the eye muscles, the structure of the eye, defect in vision, defect in the brain and sometimes due to nerve imbalance.
